About

Glass can be so interesting! Objects made of glass can be curvilinear, rectilinear, smooth (as glass), highly textured, colorful, transparent, translucent, opaque or any combination of such fascinating characteristics. Unlike most materials that only reflect color, glass will also create color when it acts as a prism. Its imperfections can be gorgeous or ugly, which is especially interesting because ugliness when portrayed in a photograph can be beautiful. Glass can be displayed in the context of realism or abstraction and the shape of clear glass can be defined in bright or dark tones. Add to all of that that glass can be attractive whether it is whole or broken.
