Glass Act: Abstract Abstract images created using glossy subjects, mostly glass
Glass and other materials with the photographic properties of glass are ideal for making abstract images because the results can be equally effective whether displaying the entire object as in the 11th image or using a macro lens to capture only the tiniest detail as in the 9th image.
One of the many challenges of photographing glass is eliminating unwanted reflections. I solved that problem by creating an area that has a black ceiling, floor and walls.
If you aspire to making photos of glass, I highly recommend the most recent edition of
Light: Science & Magic.
